Christmas gift guide for him!

So it is christmas time, aka the time where you get stressed out about giving gifts. Today I'm going to give you 5 suggestions! From my experience I've realised that most guys want something useful/games.

1. A new razor
If there is something that most guys need to do everyday, it is shaving. So why not give them a new, better, razor. It'll be very useful.

2. A USB flash drive
This is especially very useful if he is still in school or college, or does a lot of work with computers. It is also something very useful. They already exist in every shape and colour possible, but I think that the best thing is to just buy a simple, but very good one. My favourite brand is SanDisk.

3. A new perfume
Let's be honest here, what's better than a good looking man? A good looking man that also smells very nice. Most guys that I know would really like to receive perfume for their birthday/ Christmas so I guess other guys would too. Honestly I don't know much about perfume, especially about perfume for men. So I think the best thing you could do, is go to the store and ask for the lady/ man that is there for some help. Or get some samples, let your man choose and then buy him that one.

4. Playstation 4 / Xbox one
Most guys like to game and if they don't already have the new PS4 or the Xbox one then it is the perfect gift (of you're willing to spend a bit more money). Just find out if he's a playstation guy or an xbox guy. Also don't forget to buy a game for it aswell because you can't really play without a game can you? And if he already has one, maybe buy a new game?

5. A shirt from his favourite band
Because why not? If he is a something like most guys I know, he only has about 5 shirts. So a new one wouldn't hurt and if it is from his favourite band then it's even better.

Here's a  sixth one because I only just thought of it. What about movie tickets. I don't know about you, but in my country tickets are quite expensive, like almost 10 euros for just the film. So why not give it as a gift. It's quite original and fun. Plus, who doesn't like to go to the movie theater?

What are you going to give this year? Any other ideas? Let me know!

What do I want to do with my life?

'What do I want to do with my life?' A question I get a lot lately. I have just finished high school and I'm now in my first year of college. Around this time you are supposed to know what you want to become and what your life goals are. And to be honest, I have no idea what I want to become nor what I want to achieve in life.

Going to college is a huge step because you basically decide what you're going to be doing the rest of your life. If you choose to study law, you'll most likely do something law later, if you choose science then I guess you're becoming a science person or a scientist, whatever you want to call it. So there's a lot of pressure on you. You have to make the right choice now or you're going to have to do something that you don't like for the rest of your life. And nobody wants that.
It's like taking a leap in the dark, you don't if you're going to like it or not. You think long and hard about it, but in the end, you'll never be sure of you're choice. You could end up loving what you do or hating it. That's what makes the decision so scary. Sometimes people don't understand that, they don't realize how stressful making this choice is. They think we can just decide over our future in one day, because you know it's not like it's one of the most important decisions of our lives (ahem).

It's not just other people that ask me this, I ask this myself aswell. Because if I don't know what I want to be, how am I supposed to know what I want to study? I honestly don't know what I want to become, I don't want to be stuck in an office, I don't want to do science, I'm not interested in law and I can't draw. What's left? All I know is that I want to travel the world and experience things and just learn things about different cultures and see all the beautiful things in the world, but as far as I know, you can't make a living of that.

Anyways, I hope I made the right decision and maybe later, I can travel the world. Hope you made/ will make the right decision!! It's all a big adventure!

Christmas gift guide for her!

So it is December which means Christmas time! It's a time where you can just sit by the fireplace, with a delicious cup of hot chocolate and enjoy being with your loved ones. But it's also a time where you need to get everyone gifts and we all know how stressful that can be so I'm going to give you some ideas for gifts to give to your favourite girl! To keep in mind: these are more gift ideas for a really girly girl, the one that really likes fashion and make-up.

1) Red lipstick
You can never ever go wrong with red lipstick (unless she is completely uninterested in make up, then I wouldn't do this). A red lipstick is a girls best friend. You can wear it on so many occasions, you can just wear it whenever you want. Try finding a nice red of a brand like M.A.C, Chanel or YSL. Those are amazing.

2) A voucher to her favourite store
Try asking her real subtle what her favourite shops are, or try to remember the store she bought the most things from last time you went shopping. After you figure that out, you just need to buy the gift card and then she can choose whatever she likes.

3) Perfume
Every girl loves to smell nice and I guess you like it too if she smells nice. If you don't know which perfume to get, look at the one(s) she owns now and ask for one that smells similar at the lady in the store. Or just ask the lay for other advice. What you could also do, is get a variety of samples, put them in a nice packaging, then let her pick one and then you can go and buy a bigger version of the sample she chose.

4) A city trip
If you feel like spending a lot of money, take her to Paris or London or Rome or just any beautiful city. They always look so nice around Christmas time, the fairy lights, the snow, it's all so romantic.

5) Urban Decay Naked 3 palette
Urban Decay has amazing eyeshadows and their Naked palettes are amazing. And recently the Naked 3 palette came out, so what better to give her than that? They're beautiful neutral shades, with a little bit more of a rosy, pinky tone but still very beautiful.

I hope this was helpful, if you have any other ideas, don't hesitate to comment them :)

Beautiful sunset

Sometimes you can just look outside of your window and be surprised with what you see. Most of times it's just ordinary and it's the same everyday. But sometimes it's different.
The sky has gotten beautiful colours and you're just standing there like  wow, I can't believe the sky looks like this tonight.

It was kind of like that last night. It just looke beautiful, it's not the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen, but it looked so much more beautiful than it does every other night.

I just love seeing the sky change of colour. It's so beautiful.

Fall is here

After an amazing summer, fall is finally here. It has been around for a while though, but I only just realised it.

I'm a big fan of the fall. I love the colours. It's so beautiful to just look outside and see everything change. It's the time when it's not that cold yet, but cold enough to crawl up in a blanket by the fireplace with a nice cup of hot chocolate, when you can go and play in the leaves with your dog, when you can start layering your clothes and look absolutely fabulous and when you can start calling the weather 'sweater weather'. Seriously, whoever came up with that is my hero.

Do you like the fall?

(Disclaimer: I wrote this about a month ago, it's full on winter now)
